I am a former Non-Commissioned Officer from a specialised Estonian Military Police unit focused on high-risk protective operations, force protection, and executive protection. During multiple deployments to the Middle East, I gained operational experience in convoy security, executive protection, and protective operations in complex and high-threat environments.
Over the past two decades, I have continued working in the fields of military operations, executive protection, crisis management, and international security. I currently serve within the European Commission’s protection and crisis management framework and have had the opportunity to work alongside military, law enforcement, and protective service professionals from around the world.
I am a certified Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) Instructor and have extensive experience in Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, a combat-proven edged-weapon and combatives system that has influenced training within military special operations and law enforcement communities worldwide. In addition to combatives instruction, I hold instructor certifications across multiple mission-essential disciplines related to protective operations, security, and tactical training. My approach to instruction is based on practical application and lessons learned through operational experience.
My teaching style is straightforward, effective, and demanding. I believe in keeping things simple and functional, focusing on pressure-tested skills that can be applied under stress, fatigue, and adverse conditions. The goal is not sport or technical complexity, but developing capabilities that are relevant and effective in real-world operational environments.
